With twice-daily departures from Gloucester Road (Kensington, Central London), you can choose the time that best suits your schedule. This engaging tour will take you to Stonehenge, England's most famous ancient monument, visiting other interesting attractions on the journey.
The price of this tour includes the entry fee to Stonehenge and commentary will be provided through our app in a language of your choice.

Immerse yourself in the enigma of Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument shrouded in mystery and captivating the world for centuries. Embark on a journey through time as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, unraveling the secrets of its construction and purpose. Witness the awe-inspiring stone circle—a testament to human ingenuity and engineering prowess—and delve into the captivating theories surrounding Stonehenge's origins, from astronomical alignments to spiritual significance. The tour is automated and will deliver your tour directly to you as you walk around the site.
There's also the chance to explore the award-winning Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which houses a permanent exhibition that tells the story of Stonehenge from its construction in the Neolithic period to its present day status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The exhibition features a variety of archaeological objects and artifacts, as well as interactive displays and multimedia presentations. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Visitor Centre also hosts a variety of temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year. Visitors can also enjoy a café, a gift shop, and a picnic area.
Plus we'll traverse the Surrey Heath, a meticulously preserved low heath renowned for its ecological significance. Along the way, we'll uncover intriguing tales of Martian landings and the cinematic location for the opening scene of "Gladiator". You'll also see the beautiful flint-built village of Bulford, a resplendent 12th-century church, and you'll even hear about a famous goat!
Our route takes us along the iconic A303 road, affectionately known as "The Highway to the Sun." During our 20-minute commentary, we'll delve into the captivating history of Stonehenge and what awaits us at this enigmatic site.
Across a pristine chalk river, we'll encounter Durrington Walls, one of Britain's most extensive enclosed prehistoric settlements. Our journey continues with a drive past Woodhenge, the lesser-known counterpart to its more famous neighbour, Stonehenge, offering a glimpse into ancient astronomical practices.
